Date Saved:
Summer, 1993, During revival at Memorial Baptist Church in Shenandoah, IA. I grew up hearing about God all the time. I knew it was important to believe but never took it very seriously. Hearing the message from another pastor during the revival really made me see the importance of the individual relationship between myself and God. Going to church, going to youth group and praying had mistakenly been the way I thought things worked. But after that night, I realized that my assurance of salvation comes only through faith alone in Jesus. Guest pastors are a great thing!

Date Baptized:

Who Invited Me To Attend NVBC:
Nobody; I found NVBC on google maps!

What does our church mean to you:
Church is a refuge from the world around me. I get energized and renewed in my faith simply by being here. I’ve learned more in the last 6 months of attending NVBC than I have anywhere else. The passion and devotion that Pastor Trieber and staff show towards teaching us is absolutely motivating. They are a gift to us all.

Favorite Bible Verse:
Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Who have you sharpened today?

Shenandoah, IA

Favorite Church Song:
“Trust and Obey”
