A Conference You Don’t Want to Miss
Though the summer is young, I come to you today with a plea to consider attending our 26th Annual Pastors’ and Christian Workers’ Conference from September 11-14. This conference is of utmost importance for the Christian. First, there is a sense of reunion as God’s people come from all over the country and around the world for a time of great refreshing. The conference schedule will be filled with incredible preaching, singing, fellowship, food, and materials to encourage you in your ministry. The second reason I believe you should consider attending is to remind us of our historic past, what defines a true Biblicist, and what an independent, fundamental, old-time religion Baptist is all about. My files are bulging with notes I have made during the past year for the purpose of sharing with you during this great event what God has put on my heart.
For our early birds, the first day of the conference begins on Sunday, September 11, when we will remember the fateful day ten years ago when our nation was attacked. After the morning service, a wonderful luncheon for all our delegates will be served on the property. Pastor Tim Ruhl from Chico, California, will be preaching on Sunday evening. Following that service, a delegate fellowship will be hosted by Golden State Baptist College.
I guarantee that every preacher needs a conference like this, and our conference is certainly one of a kind.
You will be thrilled as you sing from our great hymnbooks—the original Songs & Hymns of Revival; the silver book—More Songs & Hymns of Revival; and our newly released Songs & Hymns of Revival Gold Edition. We have also been working on many additional brand-new projects that will be released for the conference and provided for our paid delegates.
I trust that you will be in much prayer and quickly register to be a part of this great week. We look forward to spending time together at our Pastors’ and Christian Workers’ Conference. It is very unusual for me to devote an entire article to this subject, but I believe it is of utmost importance that we push the reset button for what old-time religion is really all about. I guarantee you will leave refreshed. Thank you for taking the time to read this article. God bless each of you.
P.S. Please call us if we can be of any assistance to you regarding your decision to attend. Thank you.
