Patrick and Melissa Wheeler

Date Saved:
Patrick and Melissa were both blessed to be born and raised in Christian homes. In April 1990, at the age of five, Patrick went forward to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior after hearing a lesson on John 3:16 from his Sunday school teacher. In September of 1998, Melissa committed her life to the Lord and was saved when she was fifteen as her pastor at her home church preached about those who had truly accepted salvation versus those who just attended church and pretended to be saved. Melissa realized her true need to personally accept Jesus into her heart.

Date Baptized:
Patrick was baptized in April 1990 and Melissa was baptized in September 1998.

Who invited you to attend NVBC?
Patrick’s father, Stan Wheeler, has attended NVBC on several occasions while in town on business. We also had recommendations from friends who attended Crown College and had visited NVBC.

What does our church mean to you?
We are thrilled to have been led to a wonderful church that makes us feels right at home. We consider the spiritual support of a strong church a necessity in our lives and we are looking forward to growing ourselves and raising our family under good Christian leadership at NVBC.
